


TMTA Theory Exam Registration
The Texas Music Teachers’ Association (TMTA) Whitlock Theory exam is a written exam focusing on music theory. This exam is required for participation in TMTA ensembles. Exams occur twice per year in the spring and fall semesters (usually October and February).
The fee goes to TMTA and covers:
$15 - student affiliate registration / $20 after registration deadline
$12 - exam registration
$4 - student affiliate pin
$10 - theory workbook
