Fall Festival 2025: Step into the Classical Era!

Join us for a musical celebration of the Classical Period (1750–1820). The classical era of music gives us composers like Beethoven, Haydn, Mozart, and more! From elegant minuets to expressive sonatinas and crowd-pleasers like Für Elise, students will choose a piece they enjoy to study that stood the test of time.

Event Highlights:

  • Choose a Classical piece to perform

  • Play for a judge and earn feedback & points toward musical trophies

  • Top performers may be invited to the TMTA All-Star Festival in May!

  • Performances are not public

📅 Registration + $20 fee due by October 1, 2025
Sign-up here.

The Fall Festival is hosted by the Richardson Music Teacher Association (RMTA) and gives students a chance to:

  • Explore music from different time periods

  • Learn about Classical style and composers

  • Kick off the school year with a performance goal

Important Info:
– Music must be memorized
– Original published copy of music must be provided to the judge
